The Duke of Edinburgh Award at LWC continues to go from strength to strength. The biggest growth in this year has been in the number of parents clamouring tohelp us out. They did, however confessed that it is not so much watching the pupils at the school gain in confidence and independence and the feeling that they have been a part of something big, but the bacon and mushroom sandwiches kept them hooked. IN 2005, year we have had 4 staff, 5 parent volunteers and someone with a foot in both camps, running the award at the school.
