On a balmy evening in June, reminiscent of Mediterranean weather, a spectacular event took place at LWC, "Proms in the Park". 800 people spent a glorious Saturday night on the Sutton/Park field picnicking, socialising and dancing to the sounds of the LWC Stage Band, Idesyne and Back to Basics. Music Tour to Australia.This open-air concert, which was a fund-raising event in aid of next year's Music Department tour to Australia, not only raised a substantial amount towards the tour but also provided parents, pupils and friends with a wonderful evening's entertainment.
