Mycetes a publication designed to print the creativity of pupils.
A wonderful Poem by Peter Philips can be found and may well have been an insight to his curiosity for travel .
Peters poem talks of looking far around from Towers.
When Peter Philips left Lord Wandsworth in 1960, he did not take up his place in University. He traveled to Canada and then settled in New Zealand. Maybe his creative contribution to Mycetes, helped him to further his curiosity to look far and wide?

TOWERS
PETER PHILLIPS
The Cabot tower is so high.
You would say it reached the sky,
The spiral stairs go round and round,
'Till you can hardly see the ground.
The Eiffel tower is in France,
Where all the people go to dance,
Its towering height is hard to beat,
If you walk up it, you get sore feet.
The Blackpool tower, so good to see,
Is in Blackpool obviously,
The Tower circus ’neath its frame,
Is full of beasts, both wild and tame.
The Tower of London has lots of spires
And it has seen all London's fires,
The sparkling jewels, superb to behold
Are finely wrought in silver and gold.
