In 2003, The Sower reported that pupils in the Junior house wanted to start a Roller Hockey team.
Cycle helmets and hockey practice
Mr. Pering took up the request and the first eager pupils started to practice. This was first done with improvised equipment, this included wearing Bicycle helmets and using the tennis courts . However, after upgrading to the Yarnham’s barn, where in the autumn months they had to contend with practicing around the piles of Oats in storage there. Despite this, the team won their first tournament that year, reaching the semi finals.

Success! and seniors join the leagues
The Wandsworth Werewolves went on to be affiliated with the NIRH (National Inline Roller Hockey Association(UK)). But, the aspirations were to enter the BRHA (British Rink Hockey Association) leagues. Just five years later in 2007 the U17 league were reported to have won against Reading University.
